Firstly, I’m not someone who endorses products. However, I initially purchased Progurt after reading an encouraging review by another individual suffering from chronic tick-borne disease; now it’s my turn to help someone. I’ve known about, and been treated for the illness with antibiotics (orally & intravenously), for over five years. I also avoid gluten (coeliac) and follow a low FODMAP diet, so there are some dietary restrictions. Last year, with waves of gut pain repeatedly waking me during early hours of the morning, I commenced the ‘4 Week Protocol’ in desperation - minus the Prebiotic (high FODMAP). It was a blow to the bank balance, but a big boost to better health. Since then, I’ve managed well on two sachets per week. Occasionally, I’ll add an additional day if gut pains return (usually after antibiotic treatment). Is there a better probiotic available? I doubt it...
