of MicoBioFlora™ - Good Bacteria
A Single sachet of Progurt™ starter culture makes 1 litre (1000ml)
or 1 quart of Progurt™. This contains an enormous amount of good
bacteria. For example, 100ml of Progurt™ contains in excess of
one trillion colony forming units (CFU's) of good bacteria.
In developing Progurt™, the main goals was to replicate and replace the
good bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract that most of us have lost,
and to deliver it in a potent and pleasant tasting form to the digestive
system to produce the most positive results possible in the fastest
time.
Why Do We Need to Replenish Our Bacteria?
Our modern western diet, lifestyle, and dependence on antibiotics erodes
much of our natural bacteria. Many of our foods today are produced with
the help of growth hormones, antibiotics, preservatives, insecticides,
herbicides, and soil additives. These chemicals
make their way through the food chain into our bodies where they wreak
havoc with out natural bacteria. With so much processed food and a high
sugar intake, over the course of a lifetime, we end up destroying certain
strains of our natural good bacteria. We are now left with not enough
numbers or types of good bacteria in our intestines. In Progurt™, we
provide the additional good bacteria that you have lost.
